tahiti 80 the best guitar pop band from France will release their 3rd full album in this month. at first, it will be sold in japan on 23rd February. and second,belgian can get it on 25th March. then people who live in rest of the world may find this album in record shop on 11 April.
"changes" is single ep from this album. two defferent remixed track of "changes" are included in this ep. one is remixed by jaga jazzist! realy???

as you know well, Mercedes-Benz is the most famous car company in the world and the products are representative of the luxury class car. now this rich company is running a cool project. that is named "mix tape". now everyone can get nice compilation mp3 album from Mercedes-Benz's web site. nu jazz, acid jazz, trip-hop, hip-hop, african, downbeat, idm...incredible selection! this album can be downloaded free, of course you don't have to purchase Mercedes-Benz products :-P

psapp / tiger, my friend (leaf)

psapp is the band made by calim clasmann and galia durant in London. they were admired by robin saville a member of isan and "buttons and war" ep was released from his owned label "arable records". this ep was critically acclaimed by many listeners and artists. in fact, sketch show by haruomi hosono and yukihiro takahashi (they are ex-yellow magic orchestra) offered them join to their remix album and "rolling stone" magazine chose them in top 10 for most-notable artist.
this "tiger, my friend" debut full-length album was out in such expectations. while every track sounds home-made in good sense, those details were also elaborated high-quality. basicaly, that performance style is that garia singing with instruments playing and sequenced rhythm. galia's singing, acoustic instruments, sampling and processed sound were used very effectively by nice balanced. sometimes relaxing and funny, other times beautiful. especialy i love #3 " calm down" and #7 "curuncula"

toneretraeger / this is not here (quatermass)

these days, i've been very busy and then may be also busy from now....:-<
however, i 've listened many discs since begining of 2005 because i purchased about 30 discs(new and old) so far. tonetraeger is one of them. this album was relased from quatermass. this label released music a.m. too. Volkar Bertelmann, a member of this project, is also acting as member of music a.m. and as hauschka at other times.
this album include many pop electronica sounds. all track mainly consists of acoustic sound, electronic sound and vocal singing. i think those heart-warming melodies may remind us of morr music,karaoke kalk and tomlab. this album can be said one of the successful instance that band-style sound and electronica sound are integrated into one form like lali puna, styrofoam and so on.
